As a result of Steve’s representation, the group obtained a settlement that included $3.8 million dollars and the installation of a $25 million sewage system to stop the discharges. Laura has been a constant advocate for thousands of people who have been damaged by a neighboring company’s emissions. She has secured compensation for nuisance damages and for loss in value to the homeowners’ property. Significantly, in functionally all of her resolved environmental claims, Laura has also been able to ensure that the offending polluters implement improvements to their operations. The firm was renowned in Michigan and around the United States for successfully talking on the groundbreaking causes of civil rights, workers’ rights, personal injury, and corporate responsibility. Matt authored a book about his father’s remarkable life entitled Dean Robb: An Unlikely Radical, which won the 2011 Indie Excellence Award for Best Historical Biography.

D. Reed Solt (“Reed”) joined LSC as a law clerk in 2022 and became an associate attorney after passing the Michigan Bar exam in November 2022. In his time at LSPC, Reed has initiated and worked on numerous environmental contamination, consumer protection, and data privacy cases in both state and federal court.

Trenten Ingell (“Trent”) joined Liddle Sheets P.C. as a law clerk in 2024 and became an associate attorney after passing the Michigan Bar exam in October 2025.

While in law school at Wayne State University, Trent was involved as a board member of the school’s National Lawyer Guild, practiced as a student attorney defending Detroit tenants from eviction, assisted Detroit nonprofits and small businesses through a legal clinic, and received significant accolades in Moot Court, becoming a repeat quarterfinalist at the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition as both an oralist and brief writer.
